Detox with the Breath

Did you know that the breath is powerful enough to eliminate up to 70% of our physical, emotional and mental toxins?  The best part is that it’s absolutely free!
All we need to do to activate the power of the breath is to engage it.
Feeling anxious?
Close your eyes and place your left hand over your heart
Breathe deeply and slowly for 3 minutes feeling your breath travel throughout your body.
Feeling sluggish in your gut?
Take a full, deep breath in through your nose.
Breathe out completely through your mouth, pulling your navel towards your spine.
Hold your breath for 1 second.
Breathe out some more air through the mouth and pull your navel in further.
Hold your breath for 1 second.
Breathe out some more air through the mouth and pull your navel in further.
Repeat 3x
Feeling tired?
Take a fast, deep breath in through an open mouth.
Breath out fast through an open mouth while pulling navel towards the spine.
Repeat 4x then pause for a few seconds.
Repeat 5x.
Feeling emotional?
Rub your sternum with your fists.
Breathe in deeply and slowly through the nose.
Let the air out through the mouth.
