Do you honour your body’s wisdom by following the messages it sends you?
Daily stresses or major traumas cause the signals between the body and brain as well as between the various brain hemispheres to become entangled causing miscommunication within the physiological system. Aligning your mind, body and emotions brings harmony throughout your entire being and life.
A Quick Self-Healing Exercise:
Emotional Balancing : Breath slowly and deeply, right down into the base of your belly, expanding your rib cage on the inhale and releasing all air on the exhale. The breath is a sure way to release toxins, both physically and emotionally.
Brain Balancing : While you continue to breath deeply, lightly cover your forehead with one hand. This draws blood to the conscious part of your brain activating it and stimulating this part of your awareness.
Body Balancing : Lightly cover a part of your body that is feeling pain, tension or that is not well. If you are not aware of any physical symptoms cover your heart area with one hand. Put your attention on the area you are holding, connecting it to your conscious mind and as you breath in, breath into this area, imagining it absorbing all that is nourishing and healing. You can visualise a colour, an image or say an inspirational word. As you breath out, see all that is not beneficial slowly releasing itself and dissolving as it is replaced by the in breath of nourishment and wisdom.
Continue this exercise for 2 or 3 minutes or until you feel relaxation, calm and clarity arise.

Taking Self-Healing Deeper
In a Kinesiology and Energy Psychology session, the client is guided to bring balance to the brain, emotions as well as bodily functions through various mind-body techniques.
